Nice place in Astoria, staff is fun, and will direct you to a good meal if you have questions. Prices are very reasonable and everything we tried was great. On a nice street with plenty of parking close by, and the inside is decorated old school and is neat. Would recommend giving it a try!
I absolutely loved this place! We came here on a Sunday night and sat outside. The waiter was genuinely friendly and attentive. We ordered a large Greek salad, chicken souvlaki, grilled branzino, and lemon potatoes. Everything was fresh, hot, and delicious! We received galaktoboureko as a complimentary desert and it was a perfect finish to an incredible meal.
We were big group of 8 they include the tip in the bill, but my friend mistakenly add duplicated tip. The honest & kind waiter came to him and asked him to take it off don't pay it's too much. Food was amazing, I personally like that grilled octopus and taramo salada. I want to come back again
We just had a delicious dinner at Stamatis. The portions for the antipasto (small) were delicious yet satisfying. I thought the roasted eggplant with feta was so good, and the tzatziki was memorable. The grilled octopus was done just right. Soft and juicy. My friend insisted on getting the lima beans appetizer and that was surprisingly flavorful as well. By the time, we got to the seafood combination, I was pretty full, but I had to make room for dessert: galacktoboureko (yummy!). I felt the service was prompt and courteous. It was super popular on a Wednesday evening!
